Thank you for your reply and your suggestions.

What level of Spanish is required for working on the Galapagos project on Santa Cruz? I would very much like to work on this project but my spoken Spanish is not very confident.

And what would the living arrangements be whilst working on the Galapagos project?

Dear Lucy (Sorry I write in Spanglish )

You need a good Spanish Level to work in Galapagos. The work in Galapagos is much more complicated than in other places, because:

1.- We can’t have a good control, Galapagos is far and very expensive for us.

2.- The conflicts in Galapagos increase more than any others places.

3.- The volunteers must to be persons with more optimism and initiative. All volunteers in Galapagos had deceptions more than satisfactions. We can´t find a good volunteer to develop our projects there.

4.- We work in Galapagos with José Antonio Gallardo in Santa Cruz Island. But he is an oldmen 86 years.

5.-Jose Antonio Gallardo e lives the rural area, 8 km out of Puerto Baquerizo, near the Love Caves. The volunteers want to live near the tourist area (with, scuba diving, tours, tourist, disco, restaurants, hotels, parties, drugs and sex)

5.- We try to save Jose Gallardo´s ideals to build an interpretation centre of world peace.

6.-The work in Galapagos to build a FOTO GALLERY OF THE PEACE BETWEEN THE HUMAN AND THE NATURE, but with memory of the human deststruction in the wars and by development.

7.- The volunteer work is
.- Teaching English to protect the nature at the schools
.- Taking photos in Galapagos Islands to organize the Galapagos photo Gallery by Internet and in the caves of Santa Cruz Islands

- To write and collect the materials to build an stand with photos about your country (music, traditions, flag, the history of human exploitation of people and the nature (slaves, etc),the wars and nature destruction in your country, the wars and nature destruction of the world by the influence of your country.

-To write the destruction of Galapagos by the Ecuadorians, tourist and the Ecuadorian government.
